Aqilah A. Carrim
Founder & Executive Director, FinX Corporate Services Ltd
Aqilah brings over 15 years of experience across asset management, corporate finance, and investment advisory to FinX. A CFA charterholder with a first-class honours degree in Statistics, Computing, Operational Research and Economics from University College London, she also holds the CFA Institute's Certificate in ESG Investing and Certificate in Climate Risk, Valuation and Investment. Her career has spanned managing portfolios, structuring investment products, and advising businesses through pivotal financial decisions — from pension funds and collective investment schemes to high-net-worth client mandates.
Before founding FinX, Aqilah held senior roles as Fund Manager and Executive Director at asset management companies, where she managed portfolios for institutional and private clients and led capital-raising mandates including structured product launches and private placements. She also spent time as Senior Manager in Strategy & Transactions at a leading accounting firm, advising clients on valuations and transactions across insurance, financial services, aviation, textile, and FMCG. This breadth of experience — spanning fund management, structuring, and corporate advisory — now underpins how FinX supports its own clients: with the technical depth to get the structure right, and the practical judgment to make it work.
